18"x18" Original Painting: "Hindsight I"

The Hindsight Series is a triptych created while I was still living in Oceanside, California in 2019. I started these pieces and honestly got stuck. They felt off to me, but I had no idea how to fix them. So, I put them aside. When I moved back to Minnesota, I packed them in my moving pod with the intention of painting over them. Instead, after looking at them three years later, they feel complete and just as they should be. I could go into the details about how this is a huge metaphor for my past relationship and my identity, but that's a long story for another day ;)
